The yoga fundraiser at Spicer Orchards on October 20th was a joyful success!
Nearly $200 was raised for the Miracle League of Greater Flint. Yogis came out for a beautiful sunset practice in the apple orchard. Yoga teacher Amy Cross of Prana Yoga Center in Grand Blanc led the group through a series of gentle poses and stretches. Live music was provided by the talented Gloria who shared her piano skills and voice with the group. And at the end, cider and donuts of course!
All of the community support that has rallied behind the goal of bringing a new Miracle League field to Genesee County is remarkable. These efforts are appreciated as we move closer to our goal!
Come on out for the optimal October fundraiser on October 20 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Spicer Orchards!
Yogis will be gathering from around southeastern Michigan to raise money for the Miracle League of Greater Flint at this one-of-a-kind event. You don’t need to have any yoga experience at all–just bring a mat and be guided through a gentle practice by certified yoga teach Amy Cross of Prana Yoga Center in Grand Blanc. Live music will accompany the practice. And afterwards, free cider and donuts to all participants!
A minimum $10 donation is suggested. All proceeds will benefit the proposed Miracle League field in Mundy Township in the park that is being created just off Hill Road behind Assenmacher’s Cycling Center and the Home Depot.
