Vicki Caine is a Miracle League hero and the inspiration behind the Miracle League of Greater Flint.
A few years back, Vicki started the Miracle League of Mid-Michigan in DeWitt. It has been an amazing success. For her efforts, Vicki was honored with the Director’s Champion of Health Award at the Governor’s Fitness Awards in 2017. Watch this video featuring Vicki and her work here.
It turns out the Vicki is the aunt of Brian Caine, the League Director for the Miracle League of Greater Flint. Two years ago, Brian called his Aunt Vicki to ask her all about the Miracle League and how to bring it to the Flint area. Fast forward to May 16, 2017, and Vicki joined Brian at the news conference announcing the Miracle League of Greater Flint and the capital campaign for the new field.
Thank you Vicki for all your support! You are a true champion for equality in sports!
